YU Ending Spoilers » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « The entire party of YU was exhausted by the fight with the Archangel, the party of Riviera was not affected. Riviera's Archangel had the power of Hades on her side, YU's Archangel merely had home turf advantage. Only Yggdra with the power of the Gran Centurio was able to kill the Archangel, because the Gran Centurio was the only weapon they had that could actually cause harm to an Angel; Milanor could not harm an Angel if he tried, particularly not one created to kill him, one that was able to kill a proxy of the god.

Ein could defeat the archangel in YU and Riviera. But... I still don't like the idea that Lina can kill the archangel in Riviera XD @Sturm: I agree with the fact that only Yggdra can defeat Marietta. But then why Lina and the other sprites can even damage the archangel? Marietta and the archangel are 2 different characters and they can't be compared.
