Finally polished off Professor Layton and the Unwound Future a few nights ago as part of my push to clear out some of my "started but didn't finish" backlog of games before I get a big dump of ~30 more from Steam sales, Kijiji, and summer releases.
Currently working my way through Scurge: Hive (beat it once on an emulator with cheats, but now that I finally have a physical copy I definitely want to beat it properly) and Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth. With those done I'll only have 14 games left in my 3DS/DS library to get through before I can finally not feel guilty about starting up Bravely Default and Nano Assault EX.

Apologies for the necro, but the English version of Baroque is also available on iOS, in case anyone missed it. It's free, but you need to pay to play the whole story. Also includes a score attack mode.

So I picked this item up from the store around Chapter 2, has a IV-type attack called 'Mortal Regret' that has a whopping 67 total attack power (meaning it hits for 1 damage against the early-game enemies), along with potentially adding Poor Aim.
Should I be bothering with this weapon at all? It's a pain to increase the Mastery of it, but I'm sticking with it out of hope that it'll become usable at some point.
EDIT: It seems at a mastery of 13 it unlocks Root Blade. Still uselessly weak compared to the Iron Sword +3 you begin the game with.

When I first saw this topic I thought it was referring to the fangame I announced a while ago with the same title.
Alas, it does not appear Sting is working on a sequel to Riviera, yet. I think a sequel could easily work off of it, since the gods are still jerks and the Sprites are still clueless.

FYI, the soundtrack is available (two-disc set), I ordered a copy, and while I wait for that to arrive in a month or so, I got myself the files, and.... OHMYGODTHISISAMAZING.
Absolutely, without a doubt, Shigeki's best work since Baroque (personal favorite of his work). Possibly better than Riviera as well. And way better than KITN.

Doubt it, considering how much merchandise the average Sting game gets in North America. Unless Atlus decides to localize the game (which I'm doubtful of), and "Atlus Spoil" it, (which I'm VERY doubtful they will), these will likely never come to North America unless someone buys the JPN version.

I must say, I rented FF:TSW and really liked it. It didn't deserve to do nearly as badly as it did, but I agree it wasn't at all Final Fantasy.
Back on topic, I think a Yggdra Union movie would be awesome, but there's basically zero chance of it happening. Heck, I think we'd see Super Mario Bros 2 before that.

So you think the ending where Brongaa is revived and kills everyone is the canon ending and that it leads into Riviera somehow like that? YU has to take place with a relatively close to Riviera in time, what with them already being at #367. Of course, I can't remember Malice's model number.
Ending B is not the ending you're saying. That's Ending C. And I haven't played the PSP game. And I guess that idea behind #367 does make sense, but aren't angels immortal anyway?

Well, PPTHeaven eCon was delayed until december, so we won't get the new demo until then. But here's a trailer. And yes, I know the video quality sucks hard.

Let's see... In no particular order....
Strategy: Luminous Arc 2 (It's better than the first one) SMT: Devil Survivor Final Fantasy Tactics A2: Grimoire of the Rift (If you played the first one, this one is a huge dissapointment in comparison, but it's still ok) Knights in the Nightmare (Of course!)
Action/RPG: Legacy of Ys: Books I&II The World Ends with You
Shoot-em-up: Metroid Prime Hunters
