Someone would 'mark' the message for reward, and a moderator or administrator will use his or her discretion to decide whether to reward it or not.

its alot of work having to go in and out of threads and then i come around and post somemore, adding to their obviously high stress levels already.

well, its up to Sturm, anyways.

I doubt that... and by abuse I mean stuff like marking a user for reward every 2 seconds just because someone is a friend with the user, or people telling others not to mark a user's posts on purpose because they don't like the user. Organized abuse of the reward system most likely would mean either:

A) Your ability to mark will be revoked
B) All currency and bought things would be taken away
C) Both

apparently, i'm the most annoyingly talkative one here. too bad Sturm and Val and the rest aren't on often. its really nice spamming with those guys about how something rocks or sucks.

The users nominate, yes. But it's the Mods and Admins that actually decide whether to reward the nominees or not.
