Twas a very good movie. I've decided I will buy the English version, probably sometime this week, just so I can laugh at the actors. And they do have the Japanese version with subs in it. And the deleted stuff...

Should of had more on the huge fight with that summon (Bahumut or something?) More of Yuffie, Cat Sith (What happened to the Mog), and Red XIII.

It's funny how fast Cloud's reaction is, being able to block bullets and all. >.>
However, when I saw this movie, I knew nothing of the FFVII plot, or played the game. The only thing I knew about FFVII was from parodies of the game on Newgrounds. :P
After seeing the movie, I was compelled to start playing the game, but I've lost a bit of interest now that Cloud's gone all crazy after learning the "truth" about himself. :(

Also, Cloud can't jump that high, it's his friends who are able to throw him 2000 metres into the air... 0_0

I thought this movie was amazing. Absolutely beautiful and orgasmic. But I think the english voices suck. They don't fit the characters very well, but that might just be because I was already so used to watching the sub version. I need to go watch that again now... *turns on dvd player* yay! *orgasm*

After seeing the CG in the movie, I want FFVII remade on the PS3, so I can finish it (I got my PS1 a little late, and bought VII even later, the graphics hurt my eyes.)

Absolutely beautiful movie, no flaws, even in the English cast, other than the fact that everyone except Steve Staley spoke with no emotion and mumbled every word. I wasn't a fan of Final Fantasy VII when I bought the movie, and even after watching it I'm still not a fan. I really don't see what the big hype about VII is over the others, in fact I think IX was the best, probably because VII was the first in 3D. Although it was a great movie I really don't care for the characters except Tiffa, Yuffie, and Sepheroth. Cloud seems like a big baby constantly complaining and wanting everyone to feel sorry for him. But I never really played the game so I don't know if that's just Cloud or not. Either way I enjoyed the movie and watch it often, although it also could have done without everyone flying all over the place.

I liked the graphics, certainly, although for some reason--contrary to some people's opinions--I thought Sephiroth was a little... hard on the eyes. I won't go quite as far as calling him ugly, but... something about his face kind of bothered me. I mean, if they were going for the whole "somewhat scary-looking older long-silver-haired villain-type" then yeah. They got it just fine. But pretty-boy? Ehhh... not quite.

Cloud did have a few too many emo moments.

The Rude and Reno interaction was great, though. =D

I love the graphics a lot but as much as i do, i have to admit that i am disappointed at the lack of plot in here.

It's like DBZ with 3D graphics.
