Something different. Hey, it's art, right?
I made it in school (Level 1 Jewelry Craft). This thing was one helluva pain in the ass to solder. No, really. It was. I hate saws. I really do. And sandpaper. Yes, I sawed everything out. THE BUFFING WHEEL IS SCARY SCARY.
Shell: Nickel
Turtle base: Copper
Loop on the back: Nickel
Sawing the oval out for the shell was the biggest pain EVER. I couldn't get it a nice even oval. I finally gave up and made this weird wiggly shape and filed it to look oval. ): Although sawing+filing+sanding the copper part of the turtle was a helluva pain, too. The entire thing took about 2 months to make (School days, 45 minutes every day).
I'm currently making a double layered ring. SLKGJF I hate soldering Sterling Silver. We have a pyromaniac in our class. Pretty funny stuff.
