Then do it. It just takes a little extra time and some effort and persistance. Even someone with no talent can still draw well, with a little bit of perseverance. I'm not exactly a proof of this, but at least i drew better than i did before. xD

I'll probably scan some reference for humans and stick it up here on Saturday, if there are no interruptions. Obviously, Liger and Mari are very far from all of us in terms of skill. :<

Its cause I started drawing stick figures when I was 12. You get bored of it when you draw every day. :( so you add more, I guess.

I started drawing because this dude in 7th grade was really good at drawing. And so I challenged him to a drawing contest... and totally lost. So I practiced for about 2 years, and got better. Challenged him again, and lost... again. So I've been drawing for about 5 years, which led me to become an otaku. Which is kind of pathetic >_<

What Swiyth said a while back is true. I used to draw only because of the competition, but recently, I've become a lot better. Good enough to become one of the best artists at my school, and able to win first place in the art festival. Yay me.

Anyway, like everyone else said, it takes a lot of practice. Just do it everyday, try to complete one picture everyday. Even if it looks crappy, you'll get better.

About 3 years ago (yeah, I've only been drawing for 3 years or so... maybe less than that... I probably started some time in seventh grade? Near the end of the year, I know that much.) my friend was, like, SUPEROBSESSED with Neopets, and she made me join for the hell of it. After browsing around for a little bit, I saw all these great artists who came up with REALLY cool designs for their pets and stuff, and that's what motivated me to start drawing. I wanted to be able to draw all cute and awesome and stuff like that. But. Mehh. I've still got a long way to go. I only started drawing anime... humanish stuff last year. I only really learned how to draw in Photoshop some time last year, too.

So many of my pictures turn out crappy, sometimes I just feel like giving up, but, I dunno, I've been drawing so habitually that it's almost become, almost like a part of me xD;;

Well. I started drawig because of Gundams. I have no idea why i have lost my ability to draw robots, but it hardly matters to me now. The reason why i started drawing was because i liked to. Though with these clumsy hands, i can never truly be a very good artist. Though to say the truth, i started at the same time Mari did. At 12. Which was generally when i learned how to draw arms. (HEY, LOOK! SEGMENTS THAT CONNECT YOUR SHOULDER TO YOUR HAND! GOOD WORK, JOEY!) Though sadly, i'm STILL no match when compared to either Liger or Mari. xD
