Star Wars: The Old Republic - Playing this again but only while my boyfriend is. Leveled up a Sith Juggernaut with his Sorcerer. Also leveling Bounty Hunter/Agent and Jedi Sage/Guardian. We're currently up to Yavin 4 in Shadow of Revan. It's all new content for him so it's fun at least to see him experience it. Other than story, the game is pretty much just about farming credits for cosmetics unless you're subscribed and can earn Command XP for actually relevant gear :|
EverQuest - Yeah, this is still a thing. Playing on the Project 1999 server, which is highly populated considering it's a private server for a 19 year old game. Very slowly leveling a Druid, Necromancer, Enchanter and Bard.
Dark Souls 3 - I beat this by the way, don't have the DLC though so, I dunno. Maybe I'll try the first or second game for a change.
Final Fantasy XV - I played this a while back, got up to Insomnia and.. I think I beat Ifrit? Then didn't play anymore since I watched my boyfriend fight the final boss and I didn't feel like doing it or the extra stuff. This was before a lot of the newer changes like being able to switch characters, I might replay it or finish my file to see what new stuff there is.

Final Fantasy XIV - After almost two years of not wanting to go through post-2.0 MSQ, leveling crafters, and leveling Samurai to a decent amount, I finally went headfirst into Stormblood content. It's nice to finally have access to Kugane, but I'm definitely not liking how linear everything feels compared to Heavensward and A Realm Reborn. Buuuut at least it's nowhere near as linear as FFXIII.
Destiny 2 - I barely even batted an eye at Curse of Osiris and Warmind. I barely bothered playing through both of them because everything I hated about D2 was still getting in the way, such as how the weapon loadouts worked.
Then Forsaken came out, and holy shit, this is actually pretty legit. Not only did it present a good story for your Guardian and give you a huge end-game area to explore, but it went through the effort to fix what I really disliked about D2's weapon systems, and it feels wonderful to be running loadouts like I used to in D1. As in having a primary, special, and heavy weapon again instead of just two primaries and a special/heavy weapon.

I got a PS4 for like $100 so I got a billion PS4 games.
Nier Automata - Stylish sad robots game. That's my kind of thing. The game feels very good to play, like with movement and whatever, though I must admit the combat is ultimately kinda flat with how absurd the dodge is. I'm also going to admit that I'm actually not very invested in the story and I can't see these last two proper endings I haven't got improving my opinion of it that much. Thankfully, the weapon stories are great and make up for it. I've been trying to gather all the materials for upgrading all the weapons to the max level so I can read them all.
Earth Defense Force 5 - Imported it because I'm impatient and none of my friends are good people who play games on consoles if they find out it will be on steam so I would never be able to play with them anyway. SCREW GRAYS AND THANK GOD IT STILL HAS DEROYS BECAUSE THERE WAS A DISTINCT LACK OF ROBOTS UP UNTIL THEY SHOWED UP AND IT WAS STARTING TO UPSET ME EVEN THOUGH THE GAME HAS THE DEEPLY SATISFYING SOUNDS AND EFFECTS THAT ZANGEKI HAD WHEN YOU BLOW LIMBS OFF OF ORGANIC ENEMIES.
Gravity Rush Remastered - I was actually checking out the sequel trying to find out if I really needed to play the first game since I was always interested but don't have a Vita, and through doing that I discovered that this version of this game actually exists. So I got it and I thought it was pretty awkward and sluggish at first, but the more I got used to how it all works the more fun and natural it seemed!
Horizon Zero Dawn - Believe it or not, but the first games I bought and played were Automata, EDF, and this. Spoilers: they're all games where you beat up robots. I haven't played this since the day I started but it gave me a pretty BotW feel with how encounters are dangerous and need to be approached with caution and/or a plan, and you have to manage your items/resources. Also huge world as far as I can tell and I bet it's full of secret and side things.

QUOTE(Enzd @ Jan 15 2019, 07:22 PM) Uh... well... I got Dark Souls 2 really cheap for the Xbox One, so I started playing that, focusing on being more of a mage. Put it down a while back though when we started moving.
Destiny 2 - OH I BOUGHT AN XBOX ONE LIKE MONTHS AGO SO NOW I PLAY THIS ON THAT. I've gotten to the current power cap on my main character so at this point me and my boyfriend are working on doing as many of the exotic quests we can.
Gimme your gamertag so we can play together! Tales of Vesperia (Definitive Edition) - Reliving summer memories with this. I kinda forgot how annoyingly missable the Brionac sidequest is... Regardless, I'm enjoying this so much. Would enjoy it more were it not for... Ace Combat 7 - Strangereal, I missed you so much. Got the PS4 version of the game cause Ace Combaat 5 was a pre-order bonus, and I am not going to be missing out on legit playing my favorite game of all time. But AC7 is a blast to play as well, with the action I miss for so, so long... And no more dumb real-world settings and that "Make Metal Bleed" bullshit and dumbed-down gameplay that blatantly tried to emulate Call of Duty. Resident Evil 2 (Remake) - I have been so looking forward to this too. The atmosphere provided is really nice, as well. I like how scarce your ammunition can get if you aren't careful, not to mention how zombies are a lot more bullet spongy. I've actually resorted to using the knife to finish off encounters. ...And then I have Etrian Odyssey Nexus and Death end Re;Quest coming up in February. Dammit, why does the beginning of the year hate my wallet...?
