I've been listening to them for a while now. I think their a great band, same of my favorites are Take a
Drink, Rise from the Ashes, Rush Together. Their whole C.D. is great, but those stand out to me.

Saw them live (and actually set up their sound equipment and even built the stage they played on - and obviously met them) at MMF.
The vocalist is pretty damn skilled with a violin, and he makes Britney Spears' "Toxic" sound fucking sweet.

I don't know where you're hearing that. The sound quality was a little lousy (as with all Flash videos), but I heard no "scratching."
