FINAL POKEYMANZ TOURNAMENT OF 2008 Options

IT'S GOING TO BE NOVEMBER. THIS MONTH. PROBABLY NEAR THANKSGIVING. Three brackets. Singles, Doubles, and a Single bracket allowing legendaries.

Post if interested, and say what days later in November would be good days to start the tournament.

Whenever after the 21st is fine. Physics/Maths exams are that week.

I offer my hacking services. Some of my rules are:
- IVs are chosen by either you or me out of five random distributions.
- EVs are anything that add up to below 510.
- No event moves. No illegal sets unless it amuses me, like Walrein with Solarbeam or Farcheft'd with Hypnosis.
- Any level, any species, any item which can usually be attached.

If you want to have it match your secret ID, I would need to get a sample from you first.

Also, I enter into Singles and Doubles.

Oh, and Rai, I have a Milotic with Flamethrower and a (legal) shiny Gardevoir with Flash Cannon. (Note: I'll take these off for the tourney if I need to.)

Matches are never held all on one day anyway. They tend to span about four or five days, depending on Sturmvailability and various other name-fused factors.

Quick question for Neteca: How do you get a legit Gardevoir with Flash Cannon? It doesn't even learn Flash Cannon in Platinum.

Also, Pokemon that aren't within the game's defined boundaries won't be allowed. I mean, you can have an entire team of hacked Pokemon, and let's say they're all shiny too, but I won't care, as long as they have stats and moves that would be possible to get in-game without hacking or cheating. That means no Farcheft'd with Hypnosis. YEAH I SAID IT RAI. WHAT NOW HUH.

By the way, having Pokemon with moves they don't get outside of Platinum is not considered having illegal movesets. I asked Rhia a few days ago when goofing off and making a team of Slowbros.

OKAY. Starting on November 22. I'd like teams to be PMed to me by the end of the 21st so I can set things up and whatnot. The teams are going to be fixed (and this INCLUDES ITEMS WALRUS), so you'll need to PM moves and names and items once your team is ready, but I'm allowing two reserve Pokemon that you can switch in whenever you feel like it. Also, you can have a different team (and different reserves) for each bracket if you so choose.

So then! The rules!

• Singles Bracket
  1. No legendaries. The definition of legendary I'm using is "a Pokemon that can't breed with Ditto and isn't a baby Pokemon."
  2. No changing items or moves after the tournament begins (I'M LOOKING AT YOU WALRUS).
  3. Pokemon must be within reasonable boundaries (as I said before, the moves and stats need to be possible without hacking or cheats).

• Doubles Bracket
  1. Uh, same rules as singles. THAT IS ALL.

• Legendaries Bracket
  1. No changing items or moves after the tournament begins.
  2. The stats and moves of Pokemon must be within reasonable boundaries.

Oh, I meant that the fact that my Gardevoir is shiny is legit, not that is has the move Flash Cannon. Sorry for the disambiguity. ^_^

Oh, so that means I'll have to change my Gardevoir's and Milotic's Flash Cannon and Flamethrower, huh?
No prob. I was thinking about Thunderbolt and Dragon Pulse instead anyways.

But Dragon Pulse would be useless unless against a Dragon-type, and I already have Ice Beam... Hmm...

Aww. I limit myself to one legendary in my roster (I can't stand those who think they are omnipotent because they use all legendaries), and now I can't use it. (It was Rayquaza, just so you know) Can't we just limit it to one legendary per team?
