Milanor was unable to take down an Archangel, which Ein did with relative ease, and happens to be a more powerful version Angel.

Ein would win, this shouldn't even be a poll.

Then don't compare Riviera's archangel to YU's archangel. They are different. Milanor couldn't defeat Marietta because of her A.S. Shield, and I assume that even Ein wouldn't have the ability too kill her either.
Using you logic, I can say that Lina is more powerful than Milanor.

Milanor is a human. Ein is a super-powerful angel. Going by your logic, Ein is only as powerful as a human. This is not true. I doubt the A.S. Shield would have much impact on Ein's fight with the Archangel.

The entire party of YU was exhausted by the fight with the Archangel, the party of Riviera was not affected. Riviera's Archangel had the power of Hades on her side, YU's Archangel merely had home turf advantage. Only Yggdra with the power of the Gran Centurio was able to kill the Archangel, because the Gran Centurio was the only weapon they had that could actually cause harm to an Angel; Milanor could not harm an Angel if he tried, particularly not one created to kill him, one that was able to kill a proxy of the god.

Assuming that Disaresta is the same skill style of Angelic Thunder and Crusade, maybe that would be true. Ein could defeat the archangel in YU and Riviera.
But... I still don't like the idea that Lina can kill the archangel in Riviera XD

@Sturm: I agree with the fact that only Yggdra can defeat Marietta. But then why Lina and the other sprites can even damage the archangel? Marietta and the archangel are 2 different characters and they can't be compared. In the game history, Ein IS stronger than Milanor... but assuming gameplay...

I agree with the fact that Milanor is weaker than Ein. I only thought it was wrong to say that Ein is stronger than Milanor because Ein can defeat a archangel and Milanor can't. That's why I said even Lina can defeat the archangel =p

I'm making a comparassion. Lina isn't stronger than Milanor, but then she can defeat the archangel and Milanor can't.

Looking at it from realistic perspectives, a bow is ALWAYS stronger than an axe, unless the axe happens to be in the bow's face.

Bow has a larger range.
