I should say, the official press release is here, and it specifically states a "new dungeon and episode." Also, Atlus constantly refers to the game throughout their site as an Action RPG.
I don't know if they're trying to trick people who bought RiviGBA into buying RiviPSP, or if they've got a stupid writer/web designer on the loose, or if they quite literally remade the entire game for the American release. I doubt the latter, though I don't know how I'd feel if it were true.

Now I'm just worried about the English VA. I'm pretty sure they'd use the same ones from the GBA version but I wonder how well they will do speaking throughout the entire game. Oh well, that's what duel-language is all about.

I meant I was looking forward to the European or US Release of Disgaea Sturm, I know it's out already in Japan. But now that I think about it, I rather have Jeanne D'Arc come over here then Disgaea, the Playstation PORTable thing has gone way out of hand, I need original games.

Atlus did a good job with the voice acting in the Digital Devil Saga games, so I'm sure the voice acting in Riviera will be fine.

I might not be. But I honestly haven't seen any games on the PSP that have so much as caused my eyebrow to raise.

Although that could because I just hate the PSP for being Sony's attempt to corner the handheld market too. < My own biased opinion.

But let's not turn this into me being flamed to death. I just want a PSPEmu. If they have DSEmu why not a PSP one!? D<

Because the PSP is too complex. How many decent, working GC/PS2 emulators out there do you see? The PSP is somewhere between the GC and PS2 in terms of power.

New dungeon? Hmmm... maybe they do have a stupid writer, but still, any new stuff has the potential of being good stuff.

Bath scenes and full voice acting with dual language option is already enough for me. Plus if I get a PSP, I'll have an excuse to buy Wipeout Pure.

Yeah, because letting Nintendo have complete and total reign over the handheld market is clearly moral and unsuspect. Not to mentionthat competitiveness will allow better games to be created for both systems.

I don't own a PSP, and I'm not too happy about wanting one just for Riviera. I'm looking for other games to give me an excuse to buy one, but other than Valkyrie Profile I'm levt with no hope.

And what is the extra dungeon, is it anything like Death in RiviGBA?
