Well, you know two more. So list eighteen that you prefer the Japanese version of, or correct your statistic.

I never noticed the Yggdrar thing...gotta check that out.

I did hate how they did 'Sacrifice' on BF 42 though...it just sounded so cheesy that Kylier's death didn't affect me much at the time.

The only one that irked me the most was the 'Cycle of Life Severed' thing, since it led me to believe Nessiah hadn't die-died.

Oh and there is also the ever fun line of Milanor going: "You aren't worty!" Yeah. We don't wanna know you like worts Milanor. D:

Odd, I never caught the Yggdara thing...

There's a huge consistency issue with the Ankh/Ankh Cannons. It's worse than I first thought. On the "View Map" screen on BF42, it's called Ankh Cannon. JUST PLEASE MAKE UP YOUR MIND.

The English version of this game annoys me so very much. :(

Actually, it looks like they didn't switch it. They just decided it would be better if there's no distinction between them aside from damage and how it looks. We have three Ankh Cannons.

It doesn't bug me so much; I just know if I see an Ankh I'm about to get hurt. A lot. :<

Still, it seems like (from what I'm understanding from you) they like somehow just couldn't make up their minds I guess. XD

QUOTE(Rhiannon @ Apr 8 2007, 06:18 PM) *

The chage of Make Doll to Doll Craft was pretty stupid. Make Doll doesn't sound pretty, but at least it made sense grammatically. If they wanted to make it sound pretty so badly, they should have made it Craft Doll or something. You know, something that makes sense.

That's not necessarily a grammatical problem. Perhaps "Dollcraft" would have made more sense than "Doll Craft" (I suppose that separation caused ambiguity in the function of "Craft"), but it's a noun much like witchcraft. Witchcraft you do magic stuff, and dollcraft...you make dolls. >> Whatever.

The only typos I've noticed were in the last BF. After I finished the game once I didn't even bother to read the dialogue again cause I was just in it for the gameplay. *bricked*

Oh and Rhiannon, can you post all the Japanese banners too? After reading your post I'm curious into what all of them look like (Unless they're all here in the forum... I'll have to search). ^^;

I notice that on the event playback, the word "mountain" is spelled about six different ways. It makes me groan.

And the "Master Milanor" to "Sir Milanor" scene in chapter 7 just annoys me, period, because it's trying to translate a cultural connotation that just does not carry over into English at all, and FAILS.

Then again, I suppose we should feel lucky that Atlus, and not Natsume, got YU, because NATSUME CANNOT EVEN SPELL ITS OWN NAME CONSISTENTLY.

You know where Milanor is all like "Don't call me Master, I'm just a theif." and Elena is all like "Why?" and he's just like "Just don't call me Master." and she's all like "Ok Sir Milanor."

Yeah. It'd make more sense in Japanese

It doesn't make anymore sense in Japanese than in English.
"Master" is higher than "Sir". "Sir" is merely respective, often implying rank, "Master" implies ownership and/or debt.
