I am one of the people who are always in practice mode. It´s boring and takes a lot of time but it saves you a lot of trouble.
That´s one of the problems of Riviera: if you´re always practising, you´ll S-rank everyone without problems but if you don´t practise, the game can be very hard. |

I practice when I have about 5-6 items I need to train with, and only right before starting a new area. If it's a shield or an Applecot, I usually don't go into practice mode, just bring it into a normal battle since it's only about 2-uses to level.

I tend to get any level 3 overskills immediately once the item is acquired. Otherwise, I usually wait until I get a horde of items I need to train with.

The 5000 hp with Ein screenshot was a fake, they altered the text to make the game more likely to be bought or something.

I practice when I get new items, most of the time. In some cases I'll wait until the next chapter. But I don't do that very often.

They didn't alter the text, they altered the stats in debug.

I tend to use practice battles only when I get new items I can learn overskills with.
Riviera is a very, very easy game anyways ;D I beat it with my characters hopelessly underleved my first time through. ~~~ |
