No Ein's element is Holy, it's opposite would be Evil or Unholy, not darkness. Darkness is a stereotype for evil.

They are basing that on his diviner, since it is holy damage. Anyways, I picked Lightning because of the 3 grim Angels in the game, all that was left was Lightning, and I wanted my character to be different.

Probably because it's Dark, not Shadow, and because Angels would not be of the Dark element.
