It's poorly written, poorly researched, and the only reason it's popular is because it makes people feel smart even though it's not actually teaching them anything.

I hate it because... basically what Sturm said. Plus I hate the characters.
Priory of Sion was founded in 1956, by a con artist. Dan Brown pulled his list of Grand Masters from that list. Not too bad, but it's just dumb when you claim it to be true, outside the story.
The Da Vinci Code is entertainment, nothing more. It's a piece of fiction meant for enjoyment, not thought stimulation.
Anyone who takes it seriously one way or the other needs to be shot and put out of their misery.
I agree with you Ash... except for the shooting of those who believe it to be real. The guy who wrote it himself said it was fiction. I don't see why the Catholic Church is making such a big deal out of it.

I haven't read the book. Nor have I seen the movie. I was planning on reading the book, since one of my friends said it was good, but I haven't gotten around to taking it out of the library.
Dan's a good writer, but the idea was a little cheap.

[13:27:43] [Sabator] peter would be the worst batman ever though. "turn on the bat-signal" "right!" *turns on huge foglight, beams an image of striped pantsu into the sky*
