Right, because modded Wiis exist at the moment and people outside of Japan import Japanese Wiis. There's not many games worth importing a Japanese Wii for.

Exactly! Lastest version of modchips I know of: WiiD,WiiKey, Cyclowiz v2 (maybe 3),Wiinja Deluxe, Wiibuster, Wii-ic. Each are about $30 if you know where to look.

The point I'm getting across is that it is most likely that very few people HAVE a modded Wii, not that the possibility doesn't exist.

I'll give jpn fe10 a try once I get everything I need.

I feel the U.S. versions of Fire Emblem were too easy.

In FE7 the common enemies and bosses were too easy so I made a maniac mode.
E.G. Enemies in birds of a feather start with about 40+ hp and better or unique stat boosting weapons with higher stats. Zagan stat changes are
HP-32 Now 82
Strength-11 now 17
Skill-4 now 8
Speed-6 now 9
Luck-2 same
Defense-6 Now 10
Resistance-5 Now 6
fighter now warrior
now S in axe
replaced steel axe with Silver axe and tomahawk.
My Record:
I am currently on the living legend chapter where all enemies are 10+ levles higher than all my non-promotes. It's hard to level up when a peg knight can kill my General. (I did not use the arena or rng method. I did however do Lyn's mode which I made a maniac version of so she is not level 4 when you get her.)
In FE8 I double attacked Fomortiis with Ephraim. He died.
IN FE9 Hard mode I picked Ike (Nasir was mandatory and I called Giffca for reinforcements.
Ike soloed Ashnard for both forms.

Because of my inability to hack gamecube and wii games I import the JPN ones because they are more challenging.

They have maniac mode. Higher level enemies, Better stats?, more enemies, you fight promotes early on, you get 5 less exp per battle*, and bonus xp gain is halved*.
Example: in English FE9 there is easy, normal, and hard mode. In JPN FE9 there is normal, hard, and maniac mode. I don't know all the details but looking up the maniac mode guide for gamefaqs should give you an idea.

*for FE9, I don't know about the others.

I believe he is a mod. I wouldn't consider stating the fact that he dislikes FE to be offensive... However if that post and my next post are in question for some other reason then I shall put on the sarcasm brackets I left off (I didn't feel they were necessary).
