Pirates have a wide variety of weapons, including, but not limited to, bombs, guns, unwieldy swords and parrots.

Ninjas have bombs too... Obviously, you haven't watched enough Anime... Also, how are parrots weapons? Wouldn't the ASPCA step in at this point?

Ninja own everyone and everything. How many pirate anime are there?...ok One Piece thats only one...I've seen atleast 5 ninja anime, and ninja always have cool stealthy attacks and weapons...shuriken are the best!!!!

That's a cultural thing. Anime is made in Japan, Ninjas are from Japan. Selling two things at once.

Pirates are pretty much everywhere water is though, they are simply thieves who ride on ships. So a loosley kept together band of thieves...though they might have been called different names...

1) Pirates usually DON'T know how to swim. It's amazing how many sailors didn't know how to swim back then.
2) Ninjas use a greater variety of weapons than pirates. Fact. Kunai, string, short staffs, longstaffs, yawara, tonfa, nunchaku, three-part staff (a nunchaku with three sticks instead of two), flails, whips/chains/chainwhips, chain-knives, rope-darts, kama, long pieces of cloth, animals, sai, jitte, shuriken, darts, blowdarts, throwdarts, poison balls, smoke balls, and all kinds of throwing objects. This is EXCLUDING "jutsu", which is only in stories. ~~~  |
