<tsukiyono> A man who worked nine-to-five at a desk in a cubicle stopped to have a drink on the way home. The bar was small and relatively quiet and he was only going to have a couple of beers before he left. It was no use being too drunk to get on the train home.
<tsukiyono> Sitting alone like him at the other corner of the bar, however, was a young woman. She was very pretty, her hair glossy and her clothes stylish–the only odd detail about her was the mask over her nose and mouth, but even that was not so odd, for many people wore them to stave off pollen and other allergens.
<tsukiyono> Emboldened by the one beer he’d already drunk, the man moved to sit down next to her and bought her a drink. She thanked him, and they made small talk.
<tsukiyono> He drank more than he had planned, and they stumbled out of the bar together, laughing. She asks him, “Am I beautiful?”
<tsukiyono> He replies, “Yes.”
<tsukiyono> She pulls him towards a narrow alley, he does not object. She asks, again, “Am I beautiful?”
<tsukiyono> “Very beautiful,” he answers.
<tsukiyono> She leans in, as if promising a kiss, and asks, “Am I beautiful?” again.
<tsukiyono> “The most beautiful woman I’ve ever met in my life,” the man answers, and leans in for a kiss.
<tsukiyono> She pulls the mask off her face–her mouth is a long slit, from ear to ear. She opens her mouth to reveal rows of gleaming, sharp teeth. “Am I beautiful?” she asks, for the last time.
<tsukiyono> No one ever saw the man again

Student #1: I don't like Dr. Peter, he always goes on some tangent and I don't learn anything.

Well yeah, and those tangents consist of some sort of mathematical concept. This mother fucker loves math and his job. I've sat down in his office when he had a massive deprivation of sleep getting math stuff done, him almost nodding off, just doing this sort of thing. I've also discussed with him some really simple math concept that I thought up and we talked about it together and talked about where it can be used. I still use that math concept I thought up to this day to speed up my multiplication etc. He always sounds so excited when something comes up like that. Yes, sometimes he is late, but being late is just some lazy way to see if someone "cares" or not, and you can tell he cares about what he does in class. He wants you to get the concepts, he isn't one of those professors who says "You better follow the class and if you don't get the fuck out of this class" (HELLO GERMAN 1 PROFESSOR). His tests give leeway to those who know what they're doing to ensure a good grade; however, the same test can really hurt those who don't know the material. His homework assignments are usually fairly heavy but he gives a very reasonable timeframe. He assigns homework that has answers in the back of the book, because #1, that helps you see your problems if you find out its wrong so you can fix it, and #2, if you're such a douchebag that you actually took those out and used them, the test will eat your ass up.

I can see why people try to label him as some bad professor though. They just don't take his offer to go to his office and work with him.
