Neither the household of my parents and me nor that of my grandparents have had a microwave in more than a decade.
EDIT: ENZD THAT WASN'T VERY GALLANT YOU SHOULD FEEL BAD Also a bit earlier I took a walk outside. Currently the Rhine's water level is really high. When I came to its shore... I was startled, for before me on the promenade stood the swan I have so often seen from the distance. It was incredible, seeing this creature in full side and in all its beauty upright in front of me. I kept my distance as to not disturbed me. It did let out a few quacks which I hope were not intended to signal me to remove myself since I didn't comply till later. But since it sometimes looked out onto the Rhine or cleaned its feathers, I guess it didn't consider me to be such a disturbance (since I guess otherwise it wouldn't have trusted me enough to not keep its eyes on me all the time). Eventually it went into the water and swam upstream. I followed it for a while walking alongside it, but eventually I decided it would be better to leave it alone now and returned. It was an amazing experience. And even more so since the sole reason I went for a walk was feeling a little down due to a chain of events extending into yesterday or even the day before. But ultimately they led me to this encounter, like the cogwheels in a clockwork spin emptily till you see the fingers of the dial which they had been moving all the time turn. Um, anyone who consents to something like that not knowing their dead body is going to be stared at by a bunch of strangers obviously did not think at all. Not worthy of "respectful treatment" if you ask me. Though I'm pretty sure just about everyone who did consent to that DID know.
