It snowed last night much to my delight. I even went out to take some photos in the bitter cold and darkness, full of joy.
But when I woke up this morning a lot of the snow was revealed to have not been able to stay and instead melted away soon after it had fallen. :(

This has gotten ridiculous. An RP group I've been involved with for a number of years has promised to get together during the holidays to do something. Well, it's January 2, and nothing has happened yet. There's no word. Yet they keep acting like it's still happening. Then all they do is go out and party every night.

Yeah. Even though I haven't finished figuring a name or anything, well, it was announced...the 22nd of December? Something like that? And most of them are always idle or away.

I almost feel like something happened during their college semester.

It's become far too common to hear a "I'll talk to you tomorrow" and then days go by without the person showing up.

Or one of them won't respond to one of us, but will talk to the other. Kind of messed up.

Seems like i'll have several months to think of a name? Lol.

It's not very nice to try talking to him, and he doesn't even respond, but then you talk to someone else, and that someone else mentions that they're talking to the first guy at that very second.

Maybe you should find someone that they want to talk to and then have that person not talk to them.

Even better. If it's me, i'll tell Sara what he said so she replies instead of me.

Sounds familiar. Methods like the above seem a bit... aggressive to me though. Just get used to it, it's unlikely that you'll actually discover the reason for such behaviour or do anything, and if you try to talk to the person anyway you might come off as annoying or intrusive. Accept it, and if there is something more important you really want to tell them just politely ask if they have a moment. If there's still no reply... Sad but can't be changed I guess.
Just avoid blaming yourself for it by worrying that it might be because you're not interesting enough to talk to or things like that.

Also it snowed tonight and everything is covered in white, which makes me happy. Once the sun rises I might take a walk outside. Which will probably be terrible for my health since I already have an infection, but I have priorities. If I want to be healthy I can be that in the summer as well when there won't be any snow I could miss out on!

I should probably eat breakfast first though, just so I don't collapse in the snow. x)

At least this is how I've been handling it so far. Sorry if it's the wrong way to approach it. But using others as a backdoor seems kind of oppressive to me... The person might have a reason why they don't want to talk to you so you should respect that and just accept it if they prefer to chat with other people instead, and not try to force yourself unto them. :/

Also, I feel alive after this splendid walk. Pix: http://www.fileden.com/getfile.php?file_pa.../03.01.2010.rar

It means they don't want to talk to you, and in my experience of not wanting to talk to people, it usually just makes me want to talk to whoever I'm avoiding less if they keep trying. SO HONESTLY WHILE IT DOESN'T SOLVE ANYTHING, I WOULDN'T REALLY CALL IT BAD ADVICE EITHER.

Of course, the best way to get an answer is to confront them about how obviously they've been avoiding you. Then maybe they'll tell you something.

Ah yes, direct and blunt confrontations actually work best if you seek a satisfying solution. I would go as far as to say that it's okay to be a bit demanding about it, since it will also be for the benefit of the person remaining silent.

Also I would suggest that depending on what the result of the talk is, it might be wise to completely refrain from talking to the person for a day or a few to underline your credibility and to show that you've taken their words to heart or are coming to terms with the status quo.
(Of course I'm not telling you to ignore them entirely if it's them who contact you in that time frame.)

Snowing hard all across Europe and here I am, all sunny and wet the year round.

School session started tomorrow, two more semesters and I'm out from the cranky system, can't wait to be finally legal to have my own driving license this 12th of January, though I need to pass that state exam first before focusing fully on my driving lesson, which will be 9 months from now, w00t.
