It just occurred to me that reading horror stories by George R. R. Martin at 4 AM when I'm home alone with creepy/mysterious music playing was a bad idea. The last time I was scared by stories in books was years ago. Like, when I was young and reading crappy ghost stories and had no resistance against scary things.

"Cheez Doodles? God, not Cheez Doodles! How fucking heinous! Have you informed the police?"

Also, someone please tell me what makes this song so familiar: http://www.box.net/shared/wp64cwbb4w

It's been haunting me ever since I first heard it back in like 2004. I'm dying to know why it gives me that feeling even though I'm so sure that I could not have heard it before first hearing it. If you can find sheet music, that works too, because then I can just show it to my teacher and she'll be able to tell me. :(

Its not exactly the same ( in fact, the similarity is merely in the presentation and the actual tempo of the song instead of the notes ), but I'm pretty sure the intro for The Lord of the Rings is fairly close to it. Or perhaps Doctor Zhivago.

Resident Evil games have such great soundtracks ( sans 4 )

I read!
I just don't have that many chances (or time)
The only place I'm able to get books is Wal-Mart or school.

So most of what I read is either at or below High-School level, and incredibly old.
