I posted this a while ago as a reply to another topic, and I thought it deserved its own thread. So:

Ya know, I've been thinking about this.

It seems that the Mirabys is another island, right? It has Lacrima on it, so that explains why Fia and Lina needed a magic circle to get there, and if this holds true, then that means Vestiah and the thing containing Heaven's Gate are also different islands.

And what are Kasa, Feinoir, Granteese, the section that holds Nelde, and Valhalla? Are they like provinces or regions or what?

And why do we never get to visit many of them?

And another thing: In the possibly province/region Valhalla, what the heck are those lumpy things that look like they're surrounding a pit or something?

THIS IS CONFUSING!
Comments? Insight?

No. It doesn't confuse things.

If there are pieces of land levitating high up in the sky, you shouldn't worry about logic.

Neon, the point is that oceans exist on continental plates. Because otherwise they'd just fall into magma.

If a continent is floating in the air, it is entirely feasible for it to support oceans too, assuming the ocean is walled in or simply not falling off due to magic or whatever.

True.

Yes.

My main gripe is that we never see most of Riviera, so we don't know. :/
But, speculations and conjecture are fun.

When it comes to this, it seems that those other area's area are countries and that lie on the same continent, also we go to ever one of those areas.

Valhalla(Which is in the Feinoir sea)-Elendia
Kasa(Also in Fienoir)-Tetyth and Mireno
Granteese(Vestiah sea)-Poweeju
Rosalina Islands(Mirabys)-Lacrima
Dark-Nelde
Evear(Thats what I think it's called...)-Heaven's gate

Also this may be easier if there's a map in the PSP version

This is what I thought.
It seems to be the easiest way to explain it all.
