metal gear is my second favorite game next to dmc. but im planning to buy mgs3 substinence limited edition for the movie disk secret theaters and ZOMG online play.

I agree, but I never used the cigs. The Grenades are impossible unless you happen to be using a wall for cover. Even then the distance honestly is too hard to guess.
For switching items, I agree also, if you happen to be moving or doing something else when you want to switch, you're more than likely going to mess up the switch and end up with the Coolant Spray instead of a SOCOM. xD
And I totally agree on the throttling part. I've gotten better at that now, but I still do it occaisonally.
I really am making it sound like I suck at the game, but I can beat it European Extreme. I have gotten used to the controls, but they always seem a little wierd.


Has anyone by chance tried Metal Gear Acid? I really should just check a review, but I'm rather lazy to try..xD

I've been TOLD that MGA is the best Metal Gear game by several people. But, unless you already have a PSP, you should obviously try it out before dropping the $250+

I just was rather wary to hear it was all done by turn based kind of action. Though it would mean you don't have to deal with the controls, and let Snake go and do his thing looking badass. lol.

I feel sick reading this topic and what I said.


Anyway, MGS4 is orgasmic and all. Came pretty hard when I saw the REX vs RAY trailer a while back, and overall, I think the game looks incredibly promising. Still hoping for a 360 port though, hurr.
