Atlus is releasing Dokapon Kingdom for Wii and PS2.
There is also a hyped announcement set for June Ninth, supposedly for Yggdra Union.

Never heard about Dokapon Kingdom before. Is it worth the money?

It's advertised by both Sting and Atlus as a "friendship destroying" game.

Yes, I received a mail from Atlus saying that. But it doesn't really tell how the game actually is.

It's a party board game with RPG elements, kind of like Culdcept.

I'll probably pick this up later when it's $20 or something. Looks pretty fun.

As for Yggdra Union, depending on when the release date is, I may wait for a price drop, short on cash right now.

Do remember, that most Atlus games don't survive to a price drop.

Most Atlus games don't have enough copies printed to do a price drop.

Atlus actually do enough copies, they just don't sell enough off to retail.

After the retailers have sold out completely, Atlus start selling the games over EBAY at inflated prices, under different aliases.

That's how they make money off their niche market. D:

Some guy on the internet said he picked up Riviera and Yggdra for GBA for $15 and $18 respectively from his local game store. I have no idea where this guy lives. I saw Riviera (GBA) at MY local game store (a year ago or so), but I have never seen a copy of Yggdra in a retail store.

Because I can afford it, I will be getting a pre-order copy of Yggdra PSP. I'm willing to pay $40. I suspect it will be priced at that level or lower. I don't think I'll pick it up if it's over $40.

Probably not recently, and probably used.
And we all know why you don't buy RiviGBA or YUGBA used.

There was a price drop for Riviera to $30 earlier in the year if I recall correctly.

Because everybody played Riviera already on GBA; it was one of their best selling games and actually warranted a second shipment.
Nobody played Yggdra Union on GBA except me and Rhea; everyone else is a poser.

Couple that with the fact that RiviPSP wasn't an upgrade at all, and YUPSP is, and you've got a hot ticket.
