I just want to lay out a few things to make this a smoother forum for all of us.
1: Don't be an ass. This is easy: don't flame, don't make snide remarks in place of flames. If you do this, chances are you're succeeding at being a decent forum-poster.
2: Vigilante Justice is bullshit. Don't tell people not to break the rules, don't flame to get them to stop flaming, don't troll trolls, just report them to a mod and pretend the post doesn't even exist. If you absolutely have to respond to it, respond to everything except the flaming/trolling/whatever, and don't quote that section of the post, either.
3: Do not discuss violations of the rules on the board. Not only is it indirectly flaming, but it's off topic.
4: Your private discussions with mods regarding rule violations should stay PRIVATE. This is not to say you can't take it to another mod, if you think, perhaps, that the original mod is out to get you (they're not), but do not post about it on the forum.
5: Do not "call out" the mods, because you will succeed in getting our attention, but not the attention you want, and the childish method will likely muddy your cause.
