I meant they've turned Visual Novels into anime before.

I can see an Yggdra Union anime before a Riviera anime. The Yggdra Union story line would be easier to translate into a anime.

It's really not hard to have them both survive. While they're quarreling, the Empire moves in on both sides and swipes both Ankhs, making them both pissed, causing them to join the Royal Army in order to get back at the Empire and get their Ankhs back.
