Don't some of the indigenous people in the Amazon Rainforest specialize in making/using poisonous darts? I'm sure you could probably ask them. Provided, of course, that the language barrier doesn't get in the way too terribly and that you don't accidentally offend them so much they dart you on the spot and leave you to be piranha food. Or something like that.

I wasn't trying to say they were. But their culture's probably very different from ours, so what we probably wouldn't bat an eye at might be something extraordinarily offensive to them. It's kind of like the different meanings of the same hand gesture in different countries. What's permissible or something easily dismissed as inconsequential in one place qualifies as flipping a person off in another.

Maybe I should have boiled it down to "be careful how you ask."
