On the part of people's profiles where people indicate their gender, you have "Ledah" as the option for ambiguity. IMO, you should change that option to "Nessiah"--because while there is usually some initial gender confusion with Ledah, it's nowhere near the confusion there was over Nessiah, whom everyone thought was a girl (even Sturm) for a very long time... and we would probably still think he was a girl if he didn't have male formation and a distinctly male voice. D:

What about Roswell? Sturm refused to believe Roswell and Necromancers were male until a member took direct screenshots of text from the game. It was especially funny since Sturm had made some comments beforehand about how attractive Necromancers were, but was obviously unnerved to learn they were males.
But, as one of tradition, I vote against changing Ledah. |

I always thought of Roswell, Necromancers and Nessiah as guys knowing how androgynous anime/manga/or most japanese characters are...

I still distinctly remember Sturm referring to Nessiah as "sexy" even after the people who'd gotten the Japanese game had finished it and his wallpaper went up on the official site.

I think she meant it more as "men are less frequently found not wearing pants" rather than "women can't wear pants." Personally, I prefer pants to skirts. The former is easier to run in.
The ambiguity I think was referenced is Nessiah's clothing, which as a part of his overall appearance makes people think he's a girl even though he's not. It's harder to determine his gender than Ledah's. This post has been edited by H. Tsukiyono: Feb 29 2008, 12:28 AM |
