QUOTE(ChefMKT @ Feb 9 2008, 09:30 AM) BF 18 spoilers » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « It seems that Nessiah does not use Reincarnation at all against Mistel. It might be because his other units are already neutral to scythes and there are no units which trump it either. Also, that refreshing herb item you get on BF 6 that cures status ailments: It's not entirely useless but seeing as you have to take a step in order for it to take effect makes it kinda worthless to cure Palyze. For BF 23.5 as well, the MVP +2 turn limit has changed. It is not 13 turns anymore, it's less. I don't know how much less as I'm still in the middle of it but I'm guessing it's probably 12 or 11 now. does that mean Mistel will kick Nessiah's ass? Sigh...(DAMNITMOMIWANTTOTEXCHANGEMYLAPTOPTOAPSP)

Pamela:Can I ask you Something? Nessiah:Yeah... *annoyed* Pamela:How to make babies? Lets make one! Nessiah:WHAT??

So continuing speculation on Battlefield 49 » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Since there are Grim Angels (at least 367 of them, though some may be dead) by the end of Yggdra Union, that would imply that the gods have already gotten desperate and made the Grim Angel manufacturing process, which I thought happened during Ragnarok, as opposed to before it, while the Wisdom ending SEEMS canon in Yggdra Union, games have pulled fast ones on us and made the evil ending canon in the past (Legacy of Kain.) I'm also curious about the Servants of Goth. There seems to be heavy inference that they work for the Magi, and perhaps in this case Hector. Are they largely innocent pawns like the Grim Angels? Or are they more like the CIA of Asgard, totally in on any plots involved and simply willing to perpetuate them? Also, ARE there any plots going on at this time? I was always curious about how the gods died out, were the Magi in any way involved? If they're having the same director as Persona handle this implications like these would not be atypical of his kind of work.

RHIA OR CHEF: PLEASE IDENTIFY WHICH THEME GOES WITH WHO? (<--.rar of what I think are Mistel, Pamela, #367, and the Servant leader's themes; I don't know which is whose though and it's driving me half crazy) And also, what are the titles of the BF49 BGM and the credits BGM? MewArrow ripped the sound files, and I'm trying to match these up with their proper people so I can get the right labels on the files. The rips aren't perfect, and they cut off in the middle of the second loop (except for Rosary's, which loops four times--don't ask me why)--if you must have them as they are and can't wait for a CD release, they're available at the LJ community gran_centurio. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « And we don't know if #367's ID number is her production number as a Grim Angel--she seems to be a "flawed" Grim Angel at any rate, and I'd guess she's an early result of Hector's artificial (as in, created without the sacrifice of the gods) Grim Angel production process. We can't know for certain--that's JUST a guess. Her wings are gray, though, which makes me skeptical.
As far as I can tell, the Servants of Goth (...I really hate that bad translation) seem to be foot soldiers of some sort, and the few who accompany #367 are either her bodyguards or her "handlers". You'd have to ask Rhia, since I've only seen a couple of clips.
And CANONICALLY, Ragnarok is the war between the gods and the DEMONS. Not the gods and the humans. Remember? In Riviera, the gods "died" (or were sealed) because they sacrificed their power to their Grim Angel army, breaking the taboo that mortal creatures are not supposed to have godly powers. While Hector is known to be only looking out for Hector's interests, in Riviera, Ragnarok was a very real threat that would have ended the world (at least as we know it) had it been allowed to continue.
I have my suspicions regarding whether what happened to Nessiah was justified or not--his attitude is a little... well, self-righteous for a criminal--and I'd LOVE to pin them on Hector, but that's just my bias speaking and there's no proof of that, anyway. It's only speculation at this point.

Well guys, looks like it's a trilogy! » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « You've got YU up to the assault on Asgard, and Riviera is the aftermath.
That leaves room for a whole game-full of battles in between Yggdra's assault and Midgard's destruction. I think the situation is ripe for a sequel linking YU and Riviera.
My money is on the existing ruler of Asgard getting overthrown by Hector amidst the chaos. Or maybe, Yggdra defeats him and he takes over, rallies the gods, and kills Yggdra?
I'm not sure how this is going to play out.

» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Hon, Riviera takes place in the floating islands, not on the mortal world. Demons are referred to as "mazoku" and, in one case, actually as "akuma" (by Rose, at the end of chapter 1); the main characters are Sprites, like Pamela and Nietzsche are in YU (Sprites = "seirei", gods = "kamigami", Arcs = "aakuzoku", Asgard = "shinkai", Utgard = "makai", Grim Angels = "kokushitenshi", humans = "ningen"... just for reference's sake). If there's no involvement at all in the human world, why would it ever come up? We know that the worlds are connected because Ancardia serves as our elevator to those floating islands in YU.
But they still don't have anything to do with each other usually. You can download that compressed file, and the link should be http://communities.livejournal.com/gran_centurio - I still warn you that the files aren't the best quality. And they're not labeled. :/ I'm not so sure that changing the melody line in Roswell's theme from a sax part to electric guitar was a good idea, but the revisions to Gulcasa's--grand pause after the intro, bass drumroll in, four arpeggio riffs where there used to be two, and glissando down on the last guitar note--are damn sexy. :D *drools*

Spoilers involving extra chapters in both games » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « I can't imagine that humans ARE the demons from Utgard. I mean, even if #367 only signifies an "attempt" (unlikely, as this is similar to numbering in animes like Guyver, where unsuccessful attempts are simply lumped together as "Lost Numbers" ) the storyline still says that the gods began the Grim Angel production in desperation due to fights with the demons, not out of nowhere because they wanted to be prepared. Also, wouldn't that make Yggdra Hades? Actually, that would be an extremely fun transformation to have explained.
I want to know what weapon type Hades and Lindwyrm would be considered. The flapping of their wings is almost like a scythe...but nothing seems to work very well.

I know they're not great, since I'm lousy at ripping...(My first time other than getting sprites from VBA) But this is for you. And everyone else. For now I'll use the PAC+ names and stuff.
