Sonic Rush is a 2D game, isn´t it? It only uses 3D graphics, like New Super Mario Bros. .

It sidescrolls for most of the acts, but switches to 3D for boss battles.

You never said what you meant by 3D.

Sonic 3 and Knuckles is great because you can be Supersonic through almost the whole game! I love that part. That is my favorite 2D Sonic game.
My favorite 3D game is SA2, but I liked Sonic Heroes for the whole team thing. I thought it was cool that they did something new by incorporating the team stuff. ~~~ These broken hearts are left with scars

Sonic Adventure - Great launch title for the DC
SA2 - disappointing Sonic Heroes - Extremely disappointing Shadow the Hedgehog - haven't played it. SORRY Sonic Riders - I've seen a racing Sonic game before. Remember that one? It sucked. Just like this one. Sonic Rush - Frakking Awesome. Geez Sega needs to use these guys more often. Sonic 1 and 2 - Two great games. 3 - So so. It tried to be many things. But was good at nothing. Sonic CD - Did away with tails. That's okay though. It did what three couldn't do: Make me like the series again. ~~~ "Wheels within wheels..."

im trying to get the genesis emulater running so i can play sonic and knuckles. ~~~  Even a hero is just a person. And people are suseptable to all kinds of injury or pain. |

It's pretty damn good, but it could have surpassed even Sonic 2 with a little more attention to level design.

Or maybe because SA2 and Sonic Battle are the only Sonic Games you've played. My List: Sonic 3 & Knuckles - GREAT. Sonic Adventure - Good Sonic Adventure 2 - Good. But I hate how Shadow skates. Sonic Battle - I LIKED IT. Sonic Heroes - Disappointing, but it makes me want to play some levels (Like Rail Canyon) again. Shadow the hedgehog - WTF!? GUNS!? Go hell. And most of the levels are boring. Sonic Riders - Good for playing it one or two times. I need to play Sonic Rush. |

Sonic 2 was so awesome =O I remember going to my friend's house just to play that because I only had a SNES at the time. >_>
SA2 was annoying at times, especially Tails and Omochao. ESPECIALLY Tails...but ESPECIALLY OMOCHAO. The two most annoying things ever created, in my opinion. Tails and his Captain Obvious routine and Omochao follows suit. ~~~  |

My list:
Sonic the Hedgehog: Every second zone was crap, but the remaining 50% were awesome... Sonic 2: Brilliant! Every zone was great. Sonic 3: OMG the ability to SAVE! The rest was kinda boring... Sonic & Knuckles: Good, but the save function was gone... Sonic CD: BEST 2D Sonic game EVER! Every zone had new ideas and the opening is awesome. Sonic 3D Blast: Aaarrrrgh!! Rubbish! Sonic R: Great! YES, GREAT! The controls aren´t perfect but the soundtrack is groovy and it´s a lot of fun IMO. Sonic Adventure (DX): Adventure mode and Sonic´s and Tails´ stages: Awesome, The Rest: Rubbish. Sonic Adventure 2 (Battle): The best Sonic game ever. Especially the Chao World, but the main game is good too. Sonic Heroes: I don´t know why, but I liked it when it was new. Today it´s disappointing and chaotic. Shadow the Hedgehog: Worst 3D Sonic game ever. Aaaargh! Sonic Advance: Take away Amy and it´s a good game. Sonic Pinball Party: I like it. Sweet. Sonic Battle: ... I won´t list all the game gear titles and the spin-offs like Mean Bean Machine here. These are all the Sonic games I played.
