The only Gust game I've played is AI:EM, and Sturm said AI2 isn't all that great because it reminds him of FFT, so I don't have my hopes TOO high for Ar Tonelico. I'm considering renting it when it comes out and if I like it I'll buy it.

What the hell. I've played the opening sequence and nothing more; my opinion on AI2 is hardly worth dirt.

Yes. Well, in most cases. I consider the opening sequence to be that stuff that plays before the title screen, like when Alicia is running from Hrist when you boot up Valkyrie Profile II.
