Icons are so small it's pretty much impossible to use more than one image for them without fucking it up tremendously. You should almost never use more than one image for an icon due to the limited space provided. The most you can really do is take two imagesand use half of each.

The castle in the Gulcasa one is barely there at all aside from being a background. If backgrounds count as images, then icons that have 2 have 3.
