Steal ends up so overpowered for me because of its high movement - it's ideal for jostling for position the first turn, and then the high power crushes the first wave of grunts. My other high cards are Gravity Chaos, Mind Change and Revolution, with Crusade getting close to being power-play.
EDIT: Sorry, local slang. Power-Play cards are the high-power cards used for getting rid of bosses/cannon-w****s quickly.

I kinda agree with you, but not entirely. Some other cards have high movement value, but never turn out as strong.( for me anyway) I think It has more to do with it's ability.

my current playthrough, steal about 8900, revolution about 5000, crusade at around 4000, gravity chaos about 5000, bloody claw near 4000
I dunno, but I usually use the same cards against enemies over and over, the others with low POW are those I use for movement ( E.g. Necro Gate) Doing this makes many high-morale enemies easier for me, I guess
4000 for bloody claw is great compared to mine. I never really use Elena, so I never use it in battle. I only us Elena on BF when it's dark the entire BF.

I think Steal is just about everyone's strongest card at this point in the game. That's why if you play your cards right *bad pun...forgive me...* you can easily mop up this BF up in one turn. For me I always seem to have a super powerful Steal and so-so for everything else. I use a lot of cards so other than Steal no one card really gets excessive power, wait, in my first game my Crusade was like 7000+ POW!
But having just a few super-high powered cards is not that good... it's better to have several high POW cards(though do not have to be so high like...over 7000+) Because if you use a good card and messed up on that turn you used it... then you're left with weak cards to try taking out guys like Baldus :x
Well, this is just my tactic...different people have different ways to do stuff though

Yes, you're right. I found this to be kinda hard when playing because I ALWAYS have simi-strong cards and rely mainly on steal for those big kills, like Baldus. But it doesn't usually ruin my game, I never have major problems I cant deal with. In face, there's not a boss I can't mop the floor with in one turn with my Steal card. So everyhitng else is to take out the little goons that follow the big bosses.
