Mine is a long, personal story...My grandfather died in January of 2000. We lived about 2000 miles apart, so I didn't really know him that well. Anyway, in a box of stuff he left my dad, there was a silver lightningbolt pendant hanging from a chain. I had never seen my grandfather wear it, but we didn't go out there that often. I liked it, and I kept it as a reminder that even though you don't know someone very well, you can still feel a connection. I can't wear it anymore, because the chains that I had put it on wore it pretty thin to where I am afraid of it breaking off. Ever since I got it, I have been using either lightningdude or silverlightning for games, email, or forums.
Btw, since then, my favorite color has been silver. ~~~ These broken hearts are left with scars

MKT was my previous user name mario kart toad which I still use on gfaqs. I had some friends online and then I decided to make breakfast. And then everyone says "omg, you're a chef" ...which I'm not but you know how people exaggerate these things --; And then one of them starts calling me ChefMKT...and that's how it stuck I suppose. And btw, I do -not- have Mario Kart DS T-T; If I did, I'd be playing with everyone and anyone I can find. ~~~  |
