Okay I've been looking at the Japenese site for Riviera drooling and I'm wondering should I get the GBA version, or just wait until the PSP version comes out. I know the Japenese was released like a month ago.
...So what should I do? ...When is the PSP version in english going to be out?

T_T Sturm, don't say horrible things like that! T__T;; English-speaking peoples love Riviera too... and if they say they won't, we can just all go to Sting of Japan and camp outside the building demanding it until they give it to us!
I don't know how long it's been since you've played Riviera, but there is a LOT of text. And they added a LOT more. And EVERYTHING is voice acted. It would be a very large burden to localize RiviPSP.

I know that, but still... ;_; Even if it took a long time, it would still be here eventually, right? And Atlus still has the data from the English GBA version to go off of...
Yeah. I seriously doubt Atlus is going to do publish the PSP version here. If they do, they'll probably just keep the original voice actors rather than revoice the entire game.

Crap, so I guess it's not coming out, which is the same thing for Disgaea on the PSP, as that never came out either so I guess im getting the GBA game afterall, cause this wait is killing me.
It's happened in other games, though... like all the eight thousand million hundred Zelda remakes. There's a new translation practically every time, but it still gets localized.
And lots of the Sonic games, too.
...maybe that's because of the fan followings... but if so, I still say that's crap.
The world should have equal opportunity to play good video games, in my opinion.
Since Riviera has a lot of new content, SCEA might let Atlus bring it over, I think if they kept the original voices it would be ok, because Capcom kept the original japanese voices in MMX5 for the PS1. All we can do is hope that Atlus, at least brings it over to Europe (Region free = win)
