I personally enjoyed Riviera better. From the moment I started playing the game, to the moment I finished it, I was entertained and compelled to keep playing. As for YU, I don't know why, but it didn't intrigue me as much as Riviera did. I played for a day or two, and ever since then, I haven't even touched it. I'm not saying I don't like YU though, as it is one of the more entertaining games for the GBA. I just didn't feel like playing it for 6 hours a day for a week like I did with Riviera. >_>
I think the reason behind this was mainly because of the art and storyline (0_0) that Riviera had. Riviera's story seemed more interesting and original, while YU's story seemed very similiar to FE's story of a princess trying to reclaim her kingdom. Riviera also included many CGs throughout the game, while in YU, the only CG I've seen was in the introduction. Although then again, I haven't completed the game yet. Oh, and the background of the maps in YU bothers me.
