Hunters have a Lv20 GEN of 4, Assassins 2. Hunters have a Lv20 ATK of 3, Assassins 3. Hunters have a Lv20 TEC of 5, Assassins 5. Hunters have a Lv20 LUK of 3, Assassins 5.
Hunters have Good on Forests and Good at Noontime effects (as well as the situation-negligible Good against Griffon Riders). Assassins have the Good at Nighttime effect (as well as the situation-negligible Void Dark). Neither can counter.
Noontime comes just as often as nighttime, except in perpetual <time> battlefields. Bloody Claw can be used only once. It comes down to stats, and random, of course. If terrain comes in, Cruz'd take less Morale damage, but we'll leave terrain out. Although, it does let him void Ivy Whip, if that were ever to be optioned. Now, on stats, Hunters have greater GEN than Assassins' ATK, so they'd take less Morale damage in the case of a loss, but Assassins have lower GEN than Hunters' ATK, so it hurts when an Assassin loses. They both have high TEC for the opening and counter, but Hunters have better GEN with which to guard against it. (As well as against skills, but we're counting both Lv20, no modifications to stats.) Assassin's have better LUK, leading to (potentially) more criticals. Since they have equal ATK, they'll be killing members at the same rate, so for clashes it comes down to the opening hit. In a perfect world, Hunters will win every evening clash they start, and with Assassins starting evening battles it will be up in the air. Assassins will win all night battles they start, but still potentially lose every they don't. Hunters will win every noon battle. So, lets split the two uncertainties and say Assassins always win at night, leaving Hunters to always win at Evening. That leaves four clashes for Cruz to win, and two for Elena. Factoring Morale damage, Crus will do more Morale damage than Elena in all circumstances, and, with the greater amount of clashes won, will also do more per cycle and thus will defeat the Assassin quickly.
