That seems like communism to me. >.>
Besides, it doesn't have to start with Ros, seeing as Rothe was translated to Rose, which didn't start with Rot. The same applies with the other character's names of which were altered in the English version e.g. Ecthel to Ein, Lyuri to Lina etc.

No, you ditz. It has to do with their story, their titles.
Roswell and Rosary both start with "Ros."
Roswell is the Black Rose of the North, Rosary the White Rose of the South.
