First, about the hating Microsoft, second, about Xbox only having Shooters, Sports and Fighters.

QUOTE (Seans @ Aug 8 2006, 05:47 PM)
Why don't game producers just make a RPG for the Xbox systems? I just don't get that.

They do.
The only thing is that, since they're not big name like Final Fantasy and Tales and such, no one notices.
And saying the 360 is getting no RPG's is completely wrong.
Two games from Mistwalker, a game from tri-Ace (which isn't confirmed as an RPG, but that's about all they've made in the past), FF11 if you're into that, Magna Carta 2, Fable 2, a Spectral Force game, TrustyBell, etc.

Actually Japanese gamers notice just about every RPG. They just aren't receptive to American based systems, which is why the Xbox is doing so poorly. The accept American things in almost every other aspect. It's quite strange.

I was actually referring to people who say "there are no RPGs for Xbox" not any cultural or ethnic group.

I wonder why the Japanese don't like Microsoft's products.
WTF. The Japanese LOVE Microsoft products. I've never seen a Japanese computer game that was compatible with the Macintosh or Linux.

SAUCE YOU'RE WRONG BECAUSE I DON'T HATE MICROSOFT, JUST WINDOWS.

Anyway, I haven't seen anyone NOT complain about the price for the PS3. I think if anything's going to be a problem, it's going to be the fact that not enough people are buying it.

You don't know the power of fans, then. Microsoft fans will cling to Windows despite it being the least attractive of all OSes, I will spend $250 on a Suikoden V LE, so Sony fanboys spending huge money on a PS3 isn't much of a stretch,

I see. So it's most likely, as Ash suggests, that most of the RPG companies that were making games for the PS2 will stick with the PS series, in other words, the new PS3.

Fable is a RPG for Xbox, but it isn't "anime". :P

Prehaps that's what Xbox/360 RPGs lack? Not very many anime characters.
