Yggdra Union comic anthology, WHA Options

How is the art guide not reasonably priced? It's an ART guide, after all; think of the effort the drawers have to put into making that thing.

Uh, earth to Yuka: The art has already been drawn. It's just being collected and printed together.

Artbooks usually run around $20--I'm referring to the way the second printing hasn't been made yet and the cheapest you can currently find the damn thing is $55.

As a fellow artist I can't help feel offended or whatever it's complicated.

It is quite understandable YU's Art Guide is expensive thinking that it consists all the concept art to the final art of the cgs and god knows how many characters Yggdra Union has.

A professional artist asks for 40$ per hour for each piece of artwork. Think of how many characters Yggdra Union has plus the arrangement of the contents of the art book (which is roughly 143 pages) and the publishing. It is an art book after all so it's no surprise that it is expensive. And of course it'll be expensive because IT IS FINISHED artwork. If it were all sketches and alike w/o any final product then it's senseless to sell it in the first place.

Anyway...

Can anyone tell me where to buy the strategy guide? I've been looking for it but to no avail :(

Kiyudzuki Satoko has already been paid for all her design work, and it's no big deal that some of the design sketches along with the original art are being grouped together in an artbook. THAT IS WHAT ARTBOOKS ARE FOR. And in case you haven't noticed, $20 is the tag price. The $60 art deal is from people who are SELLING their copies online.

I just looked over countless artbooks and a large percentage of them cost 100$ (even cost more in the philippines) comparing Rivi's short artbook YU has a lot of art so think of it as "milking"

Oh and thanks to Rhia, Rai and Chef my mom is buying the art book in exchange for my soul, now I need to draw her 24 Zodiac (both Western and Eastern) ;_;
