This console generation is terrible, DS and PSP(because of modding) provide 1000x more hours of fun atm.

Wii has a bunch of first party titles that failed to deliver(SMG is the one exception in my book). Tatsunoko vs Capcom kicks the shit out of brawl.

360 has hardly anything once you take out all the SHOOTAN BASHAN KILLAN games and ports/multi-console titles. But it's reasonably priced so ehh.

PS3 has some decent titles and has Final Fantasy 13 on the horizon but no more backwards compatability and it costs a ton.

I'm dreading the next F-zero release. Topping F-Zero GX on a casual based console is not going to happen IMO.(Nintendo, prove me wrong plz)

DS succeeds in delivering to ALL audiences though and it has its staple titles already.(TWEWY, PW{If you're american}, etc) I could list more but I'm lazy.

And since I'm new, get used to my oh so common ladders of text.

Alright, I'll ammend this statement.

If you're American and don't import.

Almost everyone I know started phoenix wright out on the DS. Also, Apollo Justice.(Although I know some may argue that this game doesn't count but to them I say eff you.)

Whether you're American or if you import or not has nothing to do with whether or not it's a port - a port's a port regardless of country. No one can consider RiviGBA to not be a port just because the WSC version never made it over here.

Ehh fine, I should have just put multi-console titles and left ports off altogether. I was jumping the gun there since I can't even really say a true port for 360 atm. >.>

Yes, a port is a port, but for all consoles I usually don't hold it against devs porting older games to a new console for release to a foreign market, on any system.

Taking a current gen game that many have already played, and re-releasing it for a different console with omg features(viewtiful joe 1 for PS2 as an example) are what I knock a system for.

Why? The system isn't responsible for what publishers do. And I don't see how an expanded library - especially one expanded with GOOD titles - is at all a negative to a console.

And no, an expanded library is not a bad thing. It's just you can get the same game on another console. Which, if you own that console, the library for one system potentially shrinks.
