I like to play at Hyrule Temple, 5 stock, no items. Here's why I like Hyrule Temple:

It is big, so it allows for better use of long-distance weapons.
I like the Legend of Zelda, so it is perfect for me.
I think it is fun to go to that area below the "floating island" (I don't know what else to call it) and see how high the damage percentage can get before you die.

And for campers, for people that want to hide far away while everyone else fights, leaving themselves with all their lives when the last enemy is down to one.

He doesn't even have to really run, in the middle of a heated battle, who would notice it since it doesn't stun you?

Not while he is glued to the ground (even if its for only a second). Sturm, unless its the computer, people tend to notice they are being shot.

See, that's the thing. You are shooting from such a distance that it's easy if you start being chased. By the time they even get anywhere near a projectile distance, you've already ran off to a safer location since Fox has one of the fastest footspeed.

Other fast characters can still catch up. Especially if he's stopping to shoot a few times.

Everyone I have gone against knows they are getting shot. (My favorite level is the Temple and Final Destination.) Chef, anyone who has played for more than a week should be able to come up with a tradegy against this.

You shouldn't be paying attention to how high the damage percent is. What you should be doing is focusing on the battle itself. Knowing how much damage you have isn't going to help you do any better. All it does is distract you since you keep looking away from the fight to check how high it is.

Then numbers actually sometimes get in the way of the fight. I need to go to more places besides the Temple and FD.

Mmm...okay. So what happens when they do catch up? Fox's speedy attacks can easily KO them especially if they got blasted alot before hand. And of course, there's always the infinite combo against a wall. >_>;

Look above. The blaster spam is only one aspect of Fox's play which is obviously used to only damage the opponent beforehand. This allows Fox to damage them without having to get into melee range because Fox is quite easy to KO since he's "light" but also falls very fast meaning he can get juggled quite easily.

The infinite combo requires timing. It's easy to screw up something like that. And you act like other characters don't have any way to counter Fox's speed. The fast characters may not be as fast as Fox, but still fast enough to avoid his attacks. You don't even need to be a fast character to counter something like that. Guard. Dodge. If you have some type of counterattack/shield/thingy, use that.

Rhia explained the combo.

If you are repeatedly shot by the blaster it will do less and less damage, and the most it can do is like, 3 or 5. Fox instantly KOing his opponent depends on the skill of that player.
