Phantom Brave Options

I'm pretty sure most people here play/have played Phantom Brave. Post here if you like/love it, want to say where you are in it currently, or if you want to argue about wether or not Phantom Brave is better than Disgaea.

I love Phantom Brave. I'm working on the post-game maps right now. I think I only have two left to beat... But anyways. Who else plays it?

I can't even beat the map with Laharl, Flonne and Etna in it. Lvl 200!? Lvl 250!? How am I gonna suppose to train until lvl 200!? ><'

DUNGEONS. But really, your level doesn't need to be that high. I'm pretty sure I was lower than 200 when I beat it. Fusing items to your equipment for stat boosts will really help. Also, confining a few weak characters near eachother will help. They'll probably go after the weak ones instead of your main fighters.

I LOVE Phantom Brave, I got Ash up to level 987 before I stopped last year. I might pick it up again one day, I love Ash. I love Phantom Brave, one of the most satisfying games ever for me.

Woah, 987? My highest level charactor was only level 220... something. I think it was either a bottlemail or Ash.

I loved Phantom Brave, but I haven't played it since getting Myao or whatever her name was because my brother moved out and took the PS2 with him D: but yeah, great game.

I started my PB file over, because my characters were all 300-400 and I STILL couldn't beat the battle with Laharl, Flonne and Etna. I decided that since I hadn't figured out much of how the game works until half way through my first run, that I had screwed up my characters and items.
Now I'm on the last chapter and only level 40. :P
It's a much easier game when you know what you're doing...

I have it. Awesome game (though I've never played Disgaea). I think I'm at the second time you battle the Wraith (or whatever the skeleton with his inner organs spilling out's name is) and my strongest characters are around level 60.
My strongest characters meaning Ash and my team of Slimes: Jello, Brownie, Cocoa, Lemon, Emerald, and Shadow currently. All different colors and different weapons (Jello uses an axe, Brownie doesn't use anything because she's a Failure, Cocoa uses a dagger, Lemon uses a crystal, Emerald uses a cactus, and Shadow uses a weed).
for some reason, Marona levels mad slow (and I've heard of people having the same problem, or her leveling too fast). so I just go to some high level Failure dungeon, bring back a rock, and make her hold it and hope it's not stolen.
