Granted, YU's sprites were superior to Riviera's, however I personally prefer CGs over sprites.

I think if you posted this in a Riviera section the Riviera would have easily taken the votes, but yeah since YU is new to the people it has a disadvantage so its all fair...
But uh, I would have to vote for YU because the sprites in Riviera are...dare I say it?....Horrible! For some they could have easily improved some of the attack animation ugh. Al though I do like Riviera's faces and sense of humor over YU. ~~~  |

But, regardless of that, you can't claim the characters of YU had no character.

Oh no, I didn't mean that they had NO character, just not as much? They could have done more with the other non-Yggdra-Milanor-Durant main characters, I think.

I'm not voting until I beat YU, but thus far, I like Riviera more. I was hooked on that game 'til the end, and it didn't take me as long to figure out the battle system... Although YU is more challenging... (Am I the only one who keeps dying over and over in the early chapters? X_<) But YU reminds me of FE, except I'm rather good with FE, so... ... I've been just playing a lot of FE7 lately instead, although I've had it longer. ... ...
Let's see... judging from a standpoint of BF15ish on YU and completion of Riviera, I like Riviera for the CGs, the easy learning of the battle system, and the style the dialogue appears. (so in the unlikely event that I DO die, or redo a specific area, it scrolls by in two seconds while in YU it scrolls by in one minute, and I die a LOT in that game, so I keep scrolling...) However, YU's sprites are adorable (n_n), I get more of a triumph feeling when I win any battle, and... The name is cool. |

We weren't supposed to vote UNTIL we beat YU? Crap. Oh well, Yggdra Union STILL gets my vote. Once you get past BF7, the story finally decides to quicken its pace and actually get intriguing, and pretty much holds you in a headlock until the end of the final battlefield.

HI! i'm new......now that thats out of the way..........
Its hard for me to choose either riviera or yggdra union.......but if i had to choose, i guess it would be yggdra union. (please, no flame>.<) my reason is that riviera, after the 3rd chapter, got WAY to easy. however, riviera did have more extra conntent, and well...........2 BATHING SENCES XD ANYWAY........ yggdra union is more action-packed and has more playable characters XD ( what is it, 13 to 5?) so yeah...... yggdra union is better........gameplay wise anyway^-^ A little side note: MILANOR OWNS FACE!!!
