Hey guys, I guess I'll start spamming the board now that I'm feeling better. What game do you like best of 2005?

For me, it is most definetly Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney.
Radiata Stories, Star Ocean 3, and all the other games I played this year were amazing, but this game totally took the bait. I just love it and it has quicky silly characters and hot lawyers, so like, yeah. Lawyers.

But really, what do you like of this year and WHY? Fools, I want you to type a little.

darn. Radiata Stories and SO3 were GOOD stuff!!

but the thing which got me cranking most was Soul Calibur 3!!

Star Ocean 3 was 2004, not 2005. Plus its story sucked.

My faovirte game was Shadow of the Colossus. If you haven't played it yet, you should. Hands down, best game of 2005.

Well, I like it a lot mainly for its presentation. It's the closest a video game has ever gotten to the level of art form.

Umm.. Fire Emblem 6, 7, 9 (8 was just plain easy) SO3 was ok, I suck at real time... and the story was... Meh. PoPoLoCrois is freaking cute and it's good so far (not through with it yet) hrm... Phantom Brave was fun. Aaanddd... I can't remember any more right now.

Riviera is obvious, and doesn't really count here. :P
Also, Phantom Brave came out in 2004.

Anyways, my favorite would probably have to be SotC. Great music, beautiful graphics, fun, yet fairly simple gameplay, replay value, etc. The controls were a bit of a bother, but otherwise it was great.

Honorable mentions: Radiata, RE4, Meteos, Trauma Center.

Popolocrois is okay, but I'm not finished, nor very far. The loading times are just so awful...

Advance Wars DS is the best game IMO. I can't get enough of blasting other people away while predicting their next moves.
