This is your chance to promote any band you like. From Green Day to Cannibal Corpse; their genre, popularity, and status does not matter. A list of all the promoted bands will be compiled and sorted out into genre. This will be a quick and easy way for people to discover new musicians. A few things to keep in mind: - You can promote 3 bands per week.
- Make your post well thought out, don't just quote wikipedia, VH1 or MTV and call it a day. Nobody wants to read that. Tell us how you feel about the band you chose.
- If you want your band/artist to go into the list of suggested bands/artists, follow the format provided in the second post.
List of Promoted Bands:MetalDeath - A pioneering death metal band that employs harsh vocals, heavy and distorted guitars, amplified bass, fast and complex drumming, and lyrics that glorify death or take an objective look at human nature. Anorexia Nervosa Nihilistic Orchestra - One of the most ingenius bands in the history of music, Anorexia Nervosa Nihilistic Orchestra, or Anorexia Nervosa for short, has created some of the most beautiful music in existence today. They are the kings of symphonic black metal, and will to be hailed as one of the most influencial bands in the genre, once the genre progresses in the near future. IndieSanctus Real - A band that has recently gone through some hard times, they guide listeners toward hope through both soothing melodies and hard-hitting rock. Clean vocals and a mixture of lead and bass guitars are the focus of this band's sound. This post has been edited by Chaos Seraph: Oct 10 2006, 03:29 PM

Death - No Thread yet. I'll probably make one later.
- Official Website
- Sample Song: Symbolic.
- Recommended Tracks: Zombie Ritual, Evil Dead, Pull the Plug, Spiritual Healing, Together as One, Overactive Imagination, Trapped in a Corner, The Philosopher, Symbolic, Zero Tolerance, Misanthrope, Bite the Pain, Spirit Crusher, Voice of the Soul [Instrumental], Painkiller
- Genre: Death Metal
- In a Nutshell: A pioneering death metal band that employs harsh vocals, heavy and distorted guitars, amplified bass, fast and complex drumming, and lyrics that glorify death or take an objective look at human nature.
- Formed in 1983 by the genius musician Chuck Schuldiner, Death was the pioneering death metal band. At a time when glam rock, hair metal and thrash dominated the music industry, Death released Scream Bloody Gore in 1987. Its heavy sound and dark themes would set the standard for the death metal explosion in the early 90's and all future death metal. Symbolic and The Sound of Perseverance are their most accomplished albums, showing great musical and lyrical skill and maturity. Unfortunately, Schuldiner passed away in 2002 because of brain stem cancer. Still, he is regarded as the father of death metal and the genius of Death's music reflects that. Anyone interested in the origins of death metal or how death metal sounds when its peak has been achieved needs to waste no time in checking out Death. They are simply amazing.

Sanctus Real [*] No thread yet... [*] Official Website[*] Sample Song: I'm Not Alright[*] Recommended Tracks: I'm Not Alright, Everything About You, We're Tryin, Alone, Say It Loud, Message[*] Genre: Christian Indie Rock [*] In a Nutshell: A band that has recently gone through some hard times, they guide listeners toward hope through both soothing melodies and hard-hitting rock. Clean vocals and a mixture of lead and bass guitars are the focus of this band's sound. [*] Based in Toledo, Ohio, this band of four (plus one who's not quite official...) seeks to relate to and inspire its fans. Many of the songs written by lead singer, Matt Hammitt, apply not only to his life, but seem to represent the lives of many listeners nationwide. Recently, the band members are recovering from normal life occurances that all seemed to happen at once. Death in the family, life-changing events, the loss of a band member (he left) all add to the emotion behind their newest album, The Face of Love. The first song of the album properly sums up the feelings of the band in its title, I'm Not Alright. Even though these circumstances arose, the band still tries to direct people toward the love of the Father and hope in knowing that things will get better. Although they aren't quite in the forefront of Christian music, this is a band to watch. This post has been edited by lightningdude: Sep 20 2006, 07:05 PM

These broken hearts are left with scars Because of your lies And all this time, it feels like I'm Chasing shadows at midnight.

Anorexia Nervosa Nihilistic Orchestra - As usual, none =p
- Mother Anorexia
- Pending
- Enter The Church Of Fornication, Ordo Ab Chao: The Scarlet Communion, The Red Archromance, Le Portail De La Vierge, Divine White Light Of A Cumming Decadence, Das Ist Zum Erschiessen Schon
- Symphonic Black Metal
- One of the most ingenius bands in the history of music, Anorexia Nervosa Nihilistic Orchestra, or Anorexia Nervosa for short, has created some of the most beautiful music in existence today. They are the kings of symphonic black metal, and will to be hailed as one of the most influencial bands in the genre, once the genre progresses in the near future.
- This band brings together musical opposites - beauty and chaos, melody and brutality, symphonic classical music and some of the fastest and heaviest music ever created, and makes it sound more than perfect. I suggest everyone, if you enjoy black metal or not, goes out and picks up at least one of their albums. Everyone needs to experience this band at least once in their lifetime.
