Ere I depart I should probably leave these here, since I never posted them here.
A while ago me and 2-3 others (Cryomancer, franz, unnamed Brazilian friend of the latter) formed a small translation group (Optical Internet Translation Gang (thanks for perfecting our initial ideas,
translationparty)) for a few old video game related comics.
Mega ManFor once, a series of really... unique Mega Man comics from Brazil. To already spoil a few things, Roll is an orphan who was kidnapped and mostly killed for her organs to be sold until Dr. Light felt pity with her and planted her brain into a robotic body. Later on she runs around naked for no reason other than ROBOT NIPPLES. Also X and Megaman are around at the same time.
So yeah, it's quite weird, but due to that also interesting. Not all of the 12 issues are translated yet, but here's what's done so far:

These are comics from the late German Nintendo freebie magazine/glorified catalogue Club Nintendo. At first they're quite Mario-centric and poorly written, but eventually they become wittier and sillier, and a few years in they also begin to cover other franchises. How does a Kirby detective story sound to you!
