Monster Hunter World - Haven't gotten very far in it obviously, since the game just released almost two hours ago. Definitely having fun, even if I don't have that much experience with Monster Hunter yet. (I only played a little bit of Generations beforehand.)

If anyone wants to play with me, my PSN ID should be in my profile. Just let me know who you are when you send your friend request...

In other news, I am saving up for a Switch and Xenoblade 2, so that should be really exciting!

Star Wars: The Old Republic - Playing this again but only while my boyfriend is. Leveled up a Sith Juggernaut with his Sorcerer. Also leveling Bounty Hunter/Agent and Jedi Sage/Guardian. We're currently up to Yavin 4 in Shadow of Revan. It's all new content for him so it's fun at least to see him experience it. Other than story, the game is pretty much just about farming credits for cosmetics unless you're subscribed and can earn Command XP for actually relevant gear :|

EverQuest - Yeah, this is still a thing. Playing on the Project 1999 server, which is highly populated considering it's a private server for a 19 year old game. Very slowly leveling a Druid, Necromancer, Enchanter and Bard.

Dark Souls 3 - I beat this by the way, don't have the DLC though so, I dunno. Maybe I'll try the first or second game for a change.

Final Fantasy XV - I played this a while back, got up to Insomnia and.. I think I beat Ifrit? Then didn't play anymore since I watched my boyfriend fight the final boss and I didn't feel like doing it or the extra stuff. This was before a lot of the newer changes like being able to switch characters, I might replay it or finish my file to see what new stuff there is.

Decided to pick up Red Dead Redemption again, since it was backwards compatible with the XOne and all. I miss how good this game is. In terms of setting, in terms of characters, and in the gameplay ...Although it is annoying that I have to rebuy Undead Nightmare for some stupid fucking reason.

In other news, I am officially caught up in this console generation and got a Switch back on my birthday at the end of January. Xenoblade 2 is a lot of fun. So is Splatoon 2 and Puyo Puyo Tetris. Let me know if you wanna add me.

Aside from that, not much else cause new job is kicking my ass with 40+ hour work weeks, with most of my shifts being stuck in the evenings.

Bloodborne - So I started this less than a week ago, beat it with a strength focused character, using Ludwig's Holy Blade... then immediately (like, within a few hours of beating it) beat it again on NG+because I didn't use the items I was collecting for the best ending. Then made a skill character, got the Blades of Mercy super early, then took advantage of the first chalice dungeon to get the Uncanny Burial Blade. Been more or less focused on chalices with this character ever since. Up to the fourth layer of Lower Pthumeru, Bloodletting Beast can just go die, that would be great.

Also started on the first Dark Souls, like literally just started. Going with a Cleric I guess.

I made it to the final dungeon of DQVII then stopped. Gonna finish it one of these days. It's a pretty good game, although the party dialogues is what kept me playing for the most part. Also all the jokes made about casinos in Dragon Quest games were not fucking kidding; I played that shit for probably 5 or 6 hours grinding coins for armor.

I dropped Caligula Effect during the second dungeon. Just not all that fun. I picked up the anime instead.

I didn't get to play Demon Gaze; my Vita got wet and it fucked up the right analog stick and now I can't play certain games. Fortunately there's only like two that it has absolutely made impossible to play.

I got the platinum trophy for A Hat in Time. A Hat in Time is goddamn amazing and if you like platformers in any fashion you owe it to yourself to find a way to play it. Game of the year for me.

VA-11 HALL-A and Blue Reflection are both on the backburner, and i'll get around to finishing Witch eventually. All fun.

I've been playing the 3DS version of Radiant Historia in my ample free time at work and when I have a few hours outside of it. The battle system is interesting and fun, but playing on the hardest difficulty makes the grind really tedious. I might lower it back to normal because the game feels more balanced on fewer battles since they can be somewhat time consuming. No real complaints so far though.

Also made it to the final dungeon of Xenogears but waiting a bit to finish it, and started Disgaea 4.

EDIT: I also ran through the remastered version of Dark Souls 1 when it came out. When I'm in that Souls mood i pick it up for a day or two to work on the platinum. Same with 3.

Into the Breach

Probably done with this one. I've unlocked all but one of the teams putting ~50 hours into it last week while recovering from a back injury. Pretty fun but I like FTL more. tbh I like getting RNG fucked.

Planning to spend my winter playing Octopath but I'll let you know if that changes. I still haven't even purchased it, so :|

Final Fantasy XIV - After almost two years of not wanting to go through post-2.0 MSQ, leveling crafters, and leveling Samurai to a decent amount, I finally went headfirst into Stormblood content. It's nice to finally have access to Kugane, but I'm definitely not liking how linear everything feels compared to Heavensward and A Realm Reborn. Buuuut at least it's nowhere near as linear as FFXIII.

Destiny 2 - I barely even batted an eye at Curse of Osiris and Warmind. I barely bothered playing through both of them because everything I hated about D2 was still getting in the way, such as how the weapon loadouts worked.

Then Forsaken came out, and holy shit, this is actually pretty legit. Not only did it present a good story for your Guardian and give you a huge end-game area to explore, but it went through the effort to fix what I really disliked about D2's weapon systems, and it feels wonderful to be running loadouts like I used to in D1. As in having a primary, special, and heavy weapon again instead of just two primaries and a special/heavy weapon.

I got a PS4 for like $100 so I got a billion PS4 games.

Nier Automata - Stylish sad robots game. That's my kind of thing. The game feels very good to play, like with movement and whatever, though I must admit the combat is ultimately kinda flat with how absurd the dodge is. I'm also going to admit that I'm actually not very invested in the story and I can't see these last two proper endings I haven't got improving my opinion of it that much. Thankfully, the weapon stories are great and make up for it. I've been trying to gather all the materials for upgrading all the weapons to the max level so I can read them all.

Earth Defense Force 5 - Imported it because I'm impatient and none of my friends are good people who play games on consoles if they find out it will be on steam so I would never be able to play with them anyway. SCREW GRAYS AND THANK GOD IT STILL HAS DEROYS BECAUSE THERE WAS A DISTINCT LACK OF ROBOTS UP UNTIL THEY SHOWED UP AND IT WAS STARTING TO UPSET ME EVEN THOUGH THE GAME HAS THE DEEPLY SATISFYING SOUNDS AND EFFECTS THAT ZANGEKI HAD WHEN YOU BLOW LIMBS OFF OF ORGANIC ENEMIES.

Gravity Rush Remastered - I was actually checking out the sequel trying to find out if I really needed to play the first game since I was always interested but don't have a Vita, and through doing that I discovered that this version of this game actually exists. So I got it and I thought it was pretty awkward and sluggish at first, but the more I got used to how it all works the more fun and natural it seemed!

Horizon Zero Dawn - Believe it or not, but the first games I bought and played were Automata, EDF, and this. Spoilers: they're all games where you beat up robots. I haven't played this since the day I started but it gave me a pretty BotW feel with how encounters are dangerous and need to be approached with caution and/or a plan, and you have to manage your items/resources. Also huge world as far as I can tell and I bet it's full of secret and side things.

Supah smash
- got lots of characters, message me or something and we can trade frand codes

Diablo 3/Let's Go Pikachu
Got these for cheap/free, but only kinda wanted them to begin. Diablo 3 feels easy on normal so I should change that but it's fun. Haven't had the opportunity for multi yet. The poke game is good and bad - it streamlined random encounters but added a football mechanic so now I don't have to battle random mons but I got tennis elbow from trying to catch an Abra

Still delaying on Octopath - the worst of winter is yet to come

Uh... well... I got Dark Souls 2 really cheap for the Xbox One, so I started playing that, focusing on being more of a mage. Put it down a while back though when we started moving.

Destiny 2 - OH I BOUGHT AN XBOX ONE LIKE MONTHS AGO SO NOW I PLAY THIS ON THAT. I've gotten to the current power cap on my main character so at this point me and my boyfriend are working on doing as many of the exotic quests we can.

Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor - Got this for like $5 with the DLC, played it basically nonstop and finished it with the intention of 100% it but was disappointed to find out that literally all you get for finding everything is a pat on the back. I know, that's gaming in general but I wanted some kind of cool unlockable thing :( You cannot expect me to finish one of the most infuriating optional stealth missions I've ever played just so my dagger looks slightly different.

Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion - Even though I already owned this, I haven't had it with me in Ohio so I got a new copy for Krakenmas. Basically I made a character and just powerleveled to get 100 stats (except for Luck because I was dumb). Now that my character is maxed on stats for now and he's finished the Mages Guild, I'm just trying to figure out what spells I want to use. Not really doing much here.

South Park: The Fractured but Whole - Playing this now too, pretty close to finishing the main story but stopping to do the DLCs. I have done all the other side quests already since they're pretty simple.

Gimme your gamertag so we can play together!

Tales of Vesperia (Definitive Edition) - Reliving summer memories with this. I kinda forgot how annoyingly missable the Brionac sidequest is... Regardless, I'm enjoying this so much. Would enjoy it more were it not for...

Ace Combat 7 - Strangereal, I missed you so much. Got the PS4 version of the game cause Ace Combaat 5 was a pre-order bonus, and I am not going to be missing out on legit playing my favorite game of all time. But AC7 is a blast to play as well, with the action I miss for so, so long... And no more dumb real-world settings and that "Make Metal Bleed" bullshit and dumbed-down gameplay that blatantly tried to emulate Call of Duty.

Resident Evil 2 (Remake) - I have been so looking forward to this too. The atmosphere provided is really nice, as well. I like how scarce your ammunition can get if you aren't careful, not to mention how zombies are a lot more bullet spongy. I've actually resorted to using the knife to finish off encounters.

...And then I have Etrian Odyssey Nexus and Death end Re;Quest coming up in February. Dammit, why does the beginning of the year hate my wallet...?

Been playing a lot of Octopath, which I enjoy, but it is kind of a slog. I'm finishing up the second chapter for most of my chars.

Picked up KH3 this weekend and it's a lot of fun, but the cutscenes are a slog. But the gameplay! It's so fucking over the top fun now in battle and pretty easy to pick up mechanically. The dialogue is fucking awful, and I know I've missed a bunch in between KH2 and KH3 but it seems rather overwrought.

Downloaded yuyu to my phone this morning and I poked my way through the first battle before deciding I should be working.
