Well, I watched it.
It has some great music (no, I'm not talking about the opening), sfx and background cgs, but it is frankly one of the most lazily animated things I've ever watched.
What really bugs me is how minimalistic it tries to be, while alternatively trying to stuff an entire story into one episode, and thus you end up with Nasu's infamous introspective scenes for any one character to try to "sum up" things, or over explain them. Fortunatly, Shiki has none(jesus, I know the reasons they have the same name and about SHIKI and all, but it's still annoying), so by default, she's more likable than Shirou or Tohno Shiki.
If you took those out, fixed the animation, I'd probably enjoy it a lot more.
The Light Novel seems to sort of address the STUFFED FULL OF UNNECESSARY SEGMENTS, but I think the anime is probably slightly better at this point.
I guess I'll watch the rest of it too.

Fight scene blew ass aside from the strangling segment.

[13:27:43] [Sabator] peter would be the worst batman ever though. "turn on the bat-signal" "right!" *turns on huge foglight, beams an image of striped pantsu into the sky*
