The game is awesome. Currently in BF 34.
The night I got it, I started playing at eight at night and stopped at three in the morning
Its like I was drugged.....

No crashing issues? I've heard many players complaining of their game freezing/crashing on their DS, oh I forgot to ask again, Original DS or the DS Lite? >.< I'm getting the original DS next year, I'm fond of the lite, but I heard GBA catraidges inserted into that system sticks out a little?

Haha, yes I love the DS screen, crisp, sharp and clear, but I'm not very excited about the dual screen, it sorts of like distract me when I am trying to only concentrate on one screen, I love the GBA SP laptop like design.. :) snazzy.

Overall Nintendo system/games are kickass better than the PSP..

I've only had the game freeze once on my normal DS, but I don't know about the DS Lite. Most of the freezing complaints I've heard have come from people playing it on a Micro, so I think for the most part you should be okay with a DS. However, it may be one of those things where it's entirely dependant on the DS itself.

She's using the term we used for clashes before we had an official English term to use.

I haven't had any crashing issues...I've played both versions to completion on the DS with no problems (actually...what version does this crashing stuff happen on? Just the English?).

No, just the Japanese, apparently.

My copy of Yggdra Union came in the post (from Canada) this morning. :-)

*bakes some happy cookies and leaves some out for my friends from the old Riviera board*

Three questions...
1 - Are there any glitches on the SP? Or was that just the Japanese version?
2 - Is there anything that would be useful for me to know before I play the game? Or like Riviera, should I play through it once to "get the feel of the game" and then use a FAQ to get the things I missed?
3 - Should I have asked "2" on the Game Help board?

Vicky

There are glitches in both versions, but if you're referring to the crashing and freezing, that was only on the Micro and DS, and apparently only for the Japanese version.
Play through once to get a feel for it would be best. Just a note, it requires a minimum of two play-throughs to get everything. But it's enjoyable enough that that's not bad at all.

Thanks, that's all I needed to hear. :-) Not that YU could ever be a bad game given how great Riviera was. I'm going to open the cellophane right now and play it.

I'm sure I'll be back soon to ask lots of questions...
